More About Me
I am a California native with a passion for helping people recognize the potential within themselves. With a heart to assist teens and adults navigating life’s transitions, I strive to see them succeed in finding strength, resilience, peace, and intention in their lives.
I graduated with my bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine (UCI), and earned both of my master’s degrees in Social Work and Community and Social Planning from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, CA.
I’ve spent several years as a youth case manager for at-risk youth and have experience in Behavioral and Maternal Health, serving individuals and families through the loss of loved ones and various life transitions, including the teenage years, graduation, career changes, motherhood, and retirement. I have also supported individuals and families navigating eating disorders, as well as those diagnosed with moderate to severe depression and anxiety.
While working as a Clinician and Services Manager, I supported formerly homeless families with disabilities. I connected them with local resources, engaged families in social and educational activities, and provided child, adult, family, and group therapy.
Outside of direct therapeutic services, my expertise is in organizational and community health. As such, I’ve provided community program development for community agencies, non-profit organizations, and city and county programs across the nation. I’ve had the opportunity to assist with and spearhead system and organizational assessments, revamps, development, and evaluations.
In my personal life, I am a wife and mother and thoroughly enjoy dancing, cooking healthy dishes from scratch, and watching California sunsets!
